The Design

On average it takes 2-3 days to plan and design a hand painted mural. This includes dialogue with you, internet research and designing the concept. After discussing your needs and researching subject matter, Scott Tobin will draw upon years of experience and formal training to create a watercolor composition of the proposed artwork. He will then email you a picture of the design for your approval. This is your time to suggest adjustments and add or take away details from the proposed painting.

The fee for this initial design is included in the total cost of the work. However, once agreed upon and the artwork contract is signed, any changes made to the initial design will require an extra charge of $50/hour. If for any reason the project is cancelled, a design fee of $150 will be charged, payable immediately.
